Equestrian Trail Rides & Guide Service

RULES:

  1. No stallions.
  2. No pets.
  3. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  4. Negative coggins must be presented upon check-in.
  5. The fee is a flat rate regardless how many days you ride.
  6. A canteen for water is strongly recommended.  You may also bring snacks.
  7. What you pack in, you take out.  No trash left behind!
  8. No rough riding or racing, and NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES on the organized ride.
  9. No motorcycles, ATV’s, bicycles, golf carts, Gators, Mules, etc. allowed on the property.
  10. All riders must remain on designated trail and follow the trail boss.  No riding off the trail.
  11. All horses must be calm and well mannered.  Young horses are welcome as long as the owner can control it in a civil manner.  If you have doubts, leave him at home.
  12. Problem horses will be asked to leave. 
  13. ROUGH COUNTRY EQUESTRIAN TRAIL RIDES & GUIDE SERVICE takes no responsibility for acts of God.  We do not refund or credit for bad weather or unforeseen events caused by circumstances beyond our control.  We take every effort to keep our guests well informed in the event of bad weather, but cannot be held responsible for it.
  14. Not responsible for accidents to man or beast.
  15. Manure in the parking lot, around horse trailer and in the pens must be removed and scattered in the grass or brushy areas.  Please do not leave piles.
  16. There are no wash racks for bathing your horses.  If you want to bath your animal after the ride you may use a bucket and take water from the windmill, or bring your own.
  17. Horses may be tied at your trailer for saddling and grooming, and remain there until we leave out on the ride. 
  18. All kickers and biters must be flagged with RED tape.
  19. NO SMOKING on the property!
  20. No port-a-cans or toilets available, except for one at the entrance.  Bring your tissue and zip lock bags for carry out.
  21. Trail Boss will carry a first aid kit for both equine and human use in his saddle bags.  You may have your own if you like.
